My Sugar liked to do this pretty often and then would hide under her newspaper instead. Granted, before that she would turtle herself up as much as possible, even though she could easily fit inside. I took the flipping as a sign that she wanted to move up to her "big girl" hides - RBI mediums instead of smalls. She's happy as a clam so far! :P
