Thanks all! I'll try to get some better pics later. These were just quick camera phone pics.

Re: Funky Hatchlings
Wow those are crazy! I'm thinking temps might have caused it. A couple of their faces look slightly off, nothing major, but makes me think bator issues.

What are you seeing if you don't mind sharing? I didnt notice anything besides the crazy patterns. I did notice my little mojave from the bad clutch seems to have under sized eyes. I'm thinking it wouldn't be an issue with a nocturnal animal though. Hoping they all turn into little piggies when I begin feeding :)
I am very sorry you lost your babies. That is rough. Yes, it appears you have a clutch full of paradoxes. Interesting you think it might be related to incubator issues. I know crazy patterns can happen with incubator issues, as well as deformities. But paradoxes I don't believe I have ever heard of coming from incubator issues. It will be very interesting to see how they grow and mature.
I wish you all the best with them. I am sure you won't have any trouble finding homes for them, if you can bear to part with them that is.

I see some paradoxes and that little mojo survivor's pattern looks amazing! Glad you got some healthy babies this round.

Not that one wants to cause clutches to not make it, but what if we could pinpoint a temp. change that would mostly result in paradox patterns?! Sorry you lost most of your other clutch. Very cool paradox babies, though. Congrats on them!
Good luck with your other clutch.

Well if it was a temp spike, it's definitely having very different effects to each clutch. I had 3 total clutches, all laid about a week from each other. My last one is due to hatch next week. Interested to see if I get any paradox babies in that clutch, but maybe if it was a temp spike it would have to happen during the weeks that they develop their pigments?
Either way I don't think I'd ever try that experiment intentionally. I'm already shopping for some kind of backup battery incase I am out of town the next time I have eggs in the bator...
