    Allure is in a T8 that has lights installed into it. I don't really keep a regular schedule for his light or my fish tank light. My work schedule varies a lot with me working two jobs so usually I'll flip the light on before leaving for one job or when I get home. Never seems to make a difference to them when it comes on. Some days it I don't turn it on at all and he just gets the light that comes through my black curtains.

    I have my snakes in a room with the blinds closed so a little light trickles in. I also have LEDs on a timer for each cage for a day and night cycle. I was told the lights werent necessary, but it also doesn't hurt them.

    Thanks for all the input! Based on this, and the feedback I've recieved off the public thread I have decided to turn the lamp back on!

    Nobody, so far, knows if the lights being off is actually bad. However, enough valid arguments have been made to not even risk it.
