Re: First clutch of eggs due any day
I use vermiculite and the the light diffuser with no press n seal and maintain good humidity with in my tubs. Just make sure your mixture is right, which is seems like you're fine on yours, and ensure you have enough in the tub. Too little of the amount will dry out fast as well. I've not used press and seal myself, but I've placed a water bowl in the incubator itself and the humidity is fantastic within the tubs and the bator. Hope this helps ya and I'm sure you'll be fine with either method.

Re: First clutch of eggs due any day
If you have an issue with water dripping, raise one end of the egg tub (like with CD case or something like that) so that the water will drain down the lid and then down the egg box instead of dripping water on your eggs
First clutch of eggs due any day
As of now this is what I did.
Like mentioned above. I redid the vermiculite mix. 1:1 with water by weight.
I put a empty tub in the bottom of my incubator then put my egg box ontop of that. Humidity is 96% now.
Condensation is starting to build on the lid. Not dripping though. This is normal for the lid to shows signs of condensation right?
I'm asking cause any video I want on YouTube doesn't seem to have anything on the lid.
Mine will build to the point when I take the cover off and tilt it. Water will come out. Not tons but enough to cover the bottom of a glass cup.
