    1. She is still in eating mode so she is going to be more alert and possibly nippy or looking for more prey. Do you want to go do jumping jacks, food shopping, etc after eating if someone asks you to do so? No, you want to go watch tv or something. If you took her out of her bowl shortly after you fed her, she probably did not want to be bothered and was trying to relax.

    2. People have given their thoughts/opinions/experience with why she is soaking.

    3. Things will be ok. Stay calm, be patient. The snake sounds healthy and normal albeit having a quirk. If it's determined the snake has mites, you will take care of it accordingly.
