    I tested my setup for a week before the snake showed up. Had temps and humidity dialed in, all the hides/fake plants/water bowl/etc arranged, and was just waiting for the little guy (all of 7 weeks old) to show up. No "settling in" time to speak of.

    Unfortunately I didn't have that option this time and have quickly gotten it to very nice conditions short of installing the UTH with a thermostat. Doing that tonight. He was really an awesome find, wasn't ideal conditions but I am enjoying him. What little I see him that is as he's happily hiding.
