I asked a vet about it and he said he didn't have any tetracycline it was back ordered and hard for him to get a hold of, and that it is expensive because of it being hard to get. He isn't an exotic animal vet he was nuetering my dog and I asked him then. I think he is full of bull. I have her quarantined and she seems to be getting better her eye is clearing up but still seems to be breathing faster than normal. They are kept out in garage where it gets pretty warm but I moved her inside the house and I think that is helping. I'm still going to town tomorrow after work and getting the antibiotic.

I have only seen that when I had my rats overcrowded. As soon as I got them into more reasonable housing that went away within a week. I have only been keeping rats for about 2 years so my take may not be worth as much as some others on here but that is what I have noticed.

She wasn't crowded it was only her and a male and another female, but the guy I got her from had her pretty crowded and the tub was pretty nasty.

Yeah. RI can be caused from crowded unclean spaces with very little ventilation.
    Poor things.

Definitely try the Tetracycline you can get at a petstore.
    Good luck!
