    same. 18 inch hemostats will give you more distance between you and the snake than 18 inch tongs.

    bobba what size hemostats do you use? my retic is still on rats but even with the big rats, the hemostats feel very heavy and clumsy with a rat on the end of them. i do use one hand though. i'm sure it would feel a lot more comfortable using both hands but thats kinda tricky to do when you're opening a tub with a retic in full blown feed mode. lol

    I use hemostats. You can lock it onto the scruff of the prey and move it around without being in danger of losing it.
