Lol, my sister "stole" them all! she does better with them right now, I am a little busy with my balls laying and keeping up with rats and mice. Lol, now we are looking to add a female harly, female red and a super dal.
Awe! I have 11 snakes with 2 more on the way (I'm picking them up at a show in August). I've also got 2 ball python clutches on the way (one female is 8 days POS and the other is in her POS). In the spring I'll start breeding my corn snakes. I've had the gecko fever for awhile and when I ran into a gecko I fell in love with, I just had to have him! Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be able to sex him. He's about 4 months old according to the breeder. Another gecko around the same size was sexed female. I obviously don't have a trained eye to sex geckos so I'll just look for "the bulge" and if I don't see one soon, I'll assume female until I see otherwise!

We go through a ton of crickets every week or so.
I reptile sat for a friend a couple of weeks ago and he has a beardie. I really loved his little beardie and my family nearly stole her! (figuratively, of course!) Ideally, I will have a little bit of everything in my reptile room (with the exception of spiders...never). There are a few species of snakes I still want (burm, boa, GTP, milksnake, Mexican Black, and a hoggie) as well as a pacman frog, blue tongue skink, and a tortoise! I really need more space but as soon as I move into a place with another spare bedroom, I plan on building a floor to ceiling reptile enclosure system that will have various sizes of cages for all the different species that I want. It will look REALLY cool. Those will all be on display and my corns and ball pythons will stay in their rack systems.

Lol, I am at 19 breeder/future breeder balls, 2 pets, 2 boas, 10 ball eggs and 2 of my balls are still due to lay this month. My sister has 1 beardy and 2 corns. And we are both planning new additions!
Did I mention the rabbits, ducks, dogs and rodents? Lol.

I'm sure it will be! But I'll build the enclosures where I can stack them so when I move, I can take them down as individual cages. I also plan on turning a bookshelf into an enclosure system. I've got LOTS of plans and they will be accomplished little by little. It's definitely a long-term project. I've already got some plans drawn out so I can't wait to put them into action!

So far I have 2600g 0.1 normal ball (due to lay 7/29), 0.1 normal ball (860g and hit the wall :rage:), 1.0 lesser (the father of both clutches I think), 1.0 lemonblast (to be bred next year to the 2600g normal), 0.1 100g bumblebee, 0.1 hypo hatchling (she was born a few days ago), and 1.0 yellowbelly het hypo (the hypo pair will be picked up at the NARBC). Then corns I have 1.0 Anery het amel, 0.1 snow motley, 1.0 Hypo lavender, 0.1 bloodred het hypo/lavender/motley, 0.1 Miami phase. Then of course I have 1.0 beta, 0.0.3 fish, 1.1 dogs, now a 0.0.1 crestie, and a partridge in a pear tree.
I also plan on holding back a 0.1 lesser or 0.1 lesser pastel (the second clutch is a pastel female I have on breeding loan from a friend), and maybe a black pastel (if the normal surprises me since she was bred with a black pastel initially) ball python from my clutches. I'm ALWAYS window shopping for new animals to add to my collection. I'll be buying a new rack system at the NARBC so that will give me a little more space for some hatchlings.

Lol, you don't want to see my wish list. Between my sister and I, we are critter crazy, but we are never bored! And if we get really lucky maybe someday this hobby will pay for itself, the rodent feeding bill is getting ridicules!

Oh man. Don't get me started on my wish list ;)
As it stands my feed bill is still manageable. I order feeders for the corns about every 8-10 months (I REALLY bulk order) and the ball pythons eat live. If I can get my hands on a chest freezer, they will be switched to F/T or if I can get some space to build a rat rack, I'll just breed my own feeders.

Congrats! Looks like a nice harlequin (not an extreme harley though). He / she has good contrast in it's markings and background.
The only way to sex other than when it becomes obvious is to look for pores... There will be a line about the vent with scales that have center indentions in a male animal, although you have to use a jeweler's loupe to see them and I'm not very good at it myself. You could just wait and be surprised. :)
I kinda use the cresteds as an excuse to set up planted "display" tanks too.. the geckos themselves don't come out much, but the plants always look good. Sometimes the geckos will sleep in semi-visible spots and they can pick some odd positions which is funny to see. In my classroom that is the first thing the students do when they come in... play "where's Helga and Phoebe?" lol.
Good luck trying not to collect more cresteds..They are addictive. :)
I'm going to my first show at the end of the month and am afraid at what I'll come back with. Hopefully I can set myself a budget to bring and only spend that. I'm hoping to come back with a hognose and a new CG...hopefully a breeder quality male dalmatian, but we'll see...I may end up with multiple CGs if good animals are there. I'll also have to buy feeders for the new snake, so that'll have to come out of my budget too.

I don't have a loupe laying around so I was just going to wait him out and see if he grew a pouch. If not, then I'll be forced to call him a "she"!
As of right now, he's going to be my only one. However, I'm pretty impartial to dalmations too...so I may end up with one of those. If Cousous ends up being a she, once she's full grown I may upgrade her cage and get another adult female cage mate. But for now he'll be my only one.
I want a little hoggie so bad! I reptile sat for a friend who has a little het albino hognose. Cutest thing ever.

Very nice crestie, Bre! I'm leaning more toward flame than harlequin, but a hottie all the same!

Thank you! I'm really not too picky about whatever he turns out to be. I kinda equate it to the feeling of a lot of member's first normal ball python males. I still love the little guy regardless of his color/pattern and can't wait to see him grow up a little bit! If only he would start eating for me and then I would be a super happy gecko mommy! I have a magnetic ledge ordered to put his food and some additional water, but it's not here yet so he's got a bottle cap full of CGD on top of his floor hide. Hopefully he'll decide to venture down and eat for me until I can get that ledge installed.
