    I'm feeling your pain, my first clutch is due to pip sept. 31. And the second a week later. And one is still gonna lay next week. I'm excited and anxious at the same time, like when the wife was about to deliver. I just know its gonna be a scary time for me, making sure I do the right thing with those babies.

    ok.. so we candled ... lol... saw a couple moving inside... all had veins lol... we have one with a window on top... cant see much.... but one has a window underneath and we saw something move but NO PATTERN whatsoever... no dark... no nothing.........haha...so my son got excited and is hoping for at least one BEL....they were pretty quiet though... eggs are dimpling up a lot so it was hard to get the light in a GREAT spot... :(...... today is day 50......... ugh.. not sure how much longer I can go... :rolleye2:

    Just remember that color is the last thing to develop, and babies often sit in the egg with their bellies up, which usually aren't as heavily patterned or colored. Threads pop up every season with people thinking they have a new morph, only to have it color up before crawling out of the egg. It happens especially often when people cut early...like at day 40. :rolleyes:

    Not trying to be a Debby Downer, just pointing that out. I have my fingers crossed that it is a BEL! :) Good luck!

    Oh yer not being a Downer whatsoever... Like i said this is our first clutch... Im learning.. and reading.. and reading.. and READING and taking mental notes... hahahaha.. This whole experience has been awesome.... Im on day 52 now... no cutting if possible... hoping they come out on their own... but its KILLING ME... ;)

    You are so right... first time is supposed to be "Special" right? haha.. well I am on day 54 now.... eggs are suckin in pretty good.... I noticed temp change today which is odd... I am getting the baby rack temps under control... yes I learned NOT to wait til the last minute this time... I find myself on here everyday just looking at the pics of the new babies... needless to say... I CANT FREAKING WAIT! :banana:
