That seems extremely quick to be going into rehab in my opinion. I broke my lower right leg a few years back badly enough it required surgery to implant a stainless steel rod. I was on crutches for 7 weeks before my surgeon even allowed me to start putting weight on it. Then I started going to physiotherapy and was doing that for another 8 weeks, six of which I was in a walking boot cast. All in all it was about a 4 month ordeal. Luckily for me, I am Canadian, and the whole experience only cost me about $200, as our health care system covered the rest of the fees.

From time to time my leg still bothers me, especially if I spend a lot of time on my feet say walking on concrete or other hard surfaces, but for the most part, I am capable of doing anything I was able to do before my accident. Hopefully Brandon recovers to the same extent.
