Egg box humidity

The only time I had to mess with it was when I put the grate in, but other than that I haven't messed with it. But I put the grate in today so it hasn't been that long. Well she is due to lay her eggs on Thursday, if the humidity hasn't gone up by then should the eggs be okay until it finishes up getting to the correct humidity? But I would be able to add more water if I needed to which is good

Do you have a picture of your egg tub? I couldn't tell you what the humidity inside of my tubs actually is, I don't even have a gauge for that anymore. I just make sure the perlite is soaked and close the lid. If you can see a bit of water your humidity should be perfectly fine.

And what my egg tubs look like. I generally keep an extra one in there to keep the probe in so I don't have to deal with the probe when I check eggs.
