I like where you guys are goin tho. Id really love to go for the super pastel 100% het clown female and raise her up, but thats prob a bit too high outta my budget. Plus, i dont want to buy a poor quality animal.

The lowest I've seen this year was around $750-800 for a low quality female. Female clowns in the 1k+ area...

    Ouch.
I sold a super nice 300 gram blonde pastel 100% het clown female for $900 last year and saw others for the same price, this season they should be $750ish with lower quality even lower than that.
Unfortunately our bee female didn't go this year so no pastel or bee hets :(

hi guys, i just bought a male pastel 100% het clown and a female 100% het clown ready to breed this year(female 1200g+ male 600+). Im gonna keep my eyes peeled for a pastel het, or another het girl. Im in the UK though, and they are few and far between. How much would a breeding weight pastel 100% het female cost over ur side of the pond? Id also be interested in what value you would put on the pair i bought too??

But really. I was looking everywhere last year for a female het clown(early in the year, so everything was 11' babies). And $1200 was definitely the average at the time.

I know you have your heart set on a Killer Clown, but have you taken a really close look at King Clowns and Butter Clowns? I think they blow the Killer Clown out of the water at a cheaper entry pricepoint as well.

Anyways... I recently acquired a bunch of Clowns and 100% Het Clowns. They are all pictured on my website.

    0.2 2011 Fire 100% Het Clowns- 1100g and 900g
    0.1 2012 100% Het Clown- 600+g
    0.1 2012 Clown- 800+g
    0.1 2012 Pastel 100% Het Clown- 300+g

    2.0 Clowns ('08 @ 1500g and a '12 @ 350g)
    1.0 2012 Butter 100% Het Clown- 600g
    1.0 2011 Pastel Het Clown- 650g

I have no specific plans except to pair one 0.1 Fire Het with a 1.0 Butter Het for a Nuclear Clown and the other 0.1 Fire Het with the 1.0 Pastel Het for FireFly Clowns. I'll take 1:16 odds on the first Nuclear Clown- none produced that I know of yet.

I have eggs in the bator from my avatar (pastel clown male) to my lesser female and a pastel female, with many more females due from breeding him too. got my fingers crossed! don
