    Wow thanks, i have had no problem with my ball he's actually a fantastic eater but i think i'll up it to 6 months just to be extra safe after hearing about your corn.

    I say that's a good idea. Because of conditions of the store, it might be a good idea to have a fecal done on the snake. If you're in the Houston area (I ask because that's where S & S is located), Dr. White is a GREAT herp vet and he can hook you up no problem!

    To the OP: we quarantine for 6mos to a year. Considering what we stand to lose, it's worth it to do the longer quarantine. It has taken years to build our collection to the point it is at now. Financially, if we lost everything (it has happened to others, and their stories are out there...) we could never get back to where we are now. Not to mention the emotional value, and the risk to our customers' collections. I really don't feel like 12 months is overkill at all.

    Not sure I have not had one done I can only guess it to be about the same as IBD testing about 100$. Both are done by university of Florida dr Jacobson's lab.

    It seems quite reasonable.
