    It's really time consuming. Definitely little by little! And thanks! I'm going to make another one soon and see if I can do any better.

    The paint isnt hard. The Cova color is really thick so you dont have to multi layer much. Just a really slow process like the tooling. Alot of different cheap paint brushes are good. I will buy nice ones when I get better at the color. This wasn't very 3D because I did it on lightweight 2-3oz bookbinding leather. It would be very teadious to fill in all the depth with a 6-7oz or more.
