Condensate on getting your temps right. It sounds like you do not have a tstat on the uth. Get one! Its the most important thing you can buy. Buy the best you can afford. I like Herpstats.

Leave the snake alone until you have the tank right and have had a few good feedings.

I thaw my feeders in warm water. I dry it a bit before offering but it is in no way dry. If the cage temps are not right it will probably refuse to eat.

Yeah I just want to get him eating. I'm gonna leave him alone completely for a few days then try again next Sunday I guess.

And yeah I need a thermostat ASAP. I know. Haven't been able to find one... Petsmart doesn't seem to have one...

Nope, they usually don't carry that kind of stuff in any chain pet store I've seen. You can order them online though easily. I ordered both my Vivarium Electronics and my Herpstat online. I know that Reptile Basics carries the VE thermostats. Here's the link: http://www.reptilebasics.com/thermostats.

The local pretty stores do not usually carry very good tstats. When I ordered my Herpstat it shipped fast. I Was very happy. I have a Herpstat 1 and 4 with another 4 getting bought soon.

I forgot to mention earlier. Like stated above feeding in a different container only adds stress to your snake and increases your odds of getting bit by a snake in feeding mode.

Alright guys. I'm going to check the store that I bought him from today which was a reptile and bird store basically. But if they don't have the stuff then I'll be ordering it. Do you you guys advice on having a heat lamp as well to raise the temp in the overall tank?

I wouldn't use a light but if you need to raise the ambient temp, I use a heat emitter. You can buy them online from the same place that has the VE thermostats: http://www.reptilebasics.com/heat-emitter. You need to control it with a lamp dimmer though because they can get REALLY hot.
