    I understand what you are asking. Since she seems to have the spider wobble, you are asking if it is possible one of her parents was a spider and she inherited the wobble from the spider parent. I suppose that is theoretically possible, but I've never heard of such a thing. Any baby born from a spider parent that isn't visually a spider does not wobble that I have ever heard of.

    More likely, it was a birth defect or cause by exposure to chemicals. Since she was a pet shop snake, either is a distinct possibility. It doesn't mean she cannot live a normal life. If she can eat and poo and shed normally, just think of her as having a bit more personality than most normal ball pythons.

    All my BPs are het spider, lol. But seriously its a dominant trait that is passed on without having hets.

    I have a normal male that I got from a pet shop who "wobbles" (and yet my spider doesn't at all, lol). He was overheated and has some neuro issues. He's really jerky when he moves and kinda spastic. I have to really be careful with him because if there's too much activity around him or if he gets handled too much or anything else like that he gets stressed. But he's a permanent resident.
