Snake only wants mice after long fast

I breed my own rats and mice so I feed what they will eat.
My 1300g male pastel will eat 5 to 8 mice every 7 days, Yes one after another.

I feed pre-killed, and ya, one after another, every Saturday night.

And to make it more of a pain in the butt my snake wont eat till the lights are off and I leave the room. Never will actually strike the stupid thing.

I don't have that issue, I use a red light so I can see but he isn't bothered.
