I think the Sacramento show is *very* good. There is some educational stuff that happens, but for the most part, it is very much geared toward animal/equipment/supply sales. If you want a reptile or amphibian (or arachnid), you'd find a wide selection. It's a -big- show and getting bigger.

The prices seem pretty much comparable to me.

Sacramento is very good for a Norcal show. I would say it's the best one up here.
The vendor list probably isn't even half way complete. It's still early in the year.

But there are more merchandise/equipment/animal sales than actual education imo. Like 90% of it are sales.

Regarding prices, I would say they are comparable to online prices or better. Sometimes certain breeders have 'show specials'. And sometimes if you bring cash, people are more willing to sell at a lower price.
I won't be vending, but I do plan on going.

Reno repticon will be August 24-25. Reno is just over the hills!

Oh, and the one in the north bay is Petaluma reptile expo. Although it is the same day as repticon. Not sure which way other vendors will be going, but I know we will be in Reno.
