    It shouldn't. We have a few males who haven't been paired up who aren't eating at the moment. Also, our guy who's going on 7 months was only used as a backup, so he didn't hook up with the females that often, and he's been off feed the longest. It all just depends on when they stop thinking about doing the dirty and realize "Oh hey, I guess I'm hungry" lol

    Yay! He finally ate! We went ahead and bought a few live mice the other day and Simon finally ate! We are happy although it was just a small mouse. We have searched and searched but cannot find any live rats locally, so it looks like mice for him for now. We'll just have to feed more I guess. Hopefully we will be able to work him down to freshly killed, then f/t mice, then f/t rats.

    Also just have to say, we fed the rest of our snakes freshly killed and WOW! the feeding response was incredible!
