here is the "yb" that sired the clutch. I figured at least a low quality yb but now not so sure about that with everyone seeing no ybshttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/...psfb795d21.jpg

    yellowbellies? (pic heavy)
I don't know how to tell you this but I don't think that male is a yellow belly. At least it's not like any I've ever seen. Yellow bellies can be hard to identify but once you get it, you can pick them out in a heart beat. Yellow bellys have 3 things I look for; belly pattern, flames, and a head spot. Here is a belly pic of mine and you can see the difference between her and yours. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/05/16/eta3a2ub.jpg
And here's a top pic showing the head mark and flames.

The one you have has a fairly clean belly but it doesn't have a YB look to it. And by that pic you posted it doesn't seem to have the flames (white or yellow colour coming up the sides of the snake from the belly) that a yellow belly should have.

If you bought it as a YB, you may have been dooped. Sorry :(

    That really sucks...

Unfortunately, like others have said, the sire and offspring are not yellowbellies.

ok thank you for the info and help everyone It is appreciated. I will have to be more careful but I guess it was all just a learning experience in many ways. im starting to understand ybs a little more but if anyone can help with telling me how to see it when it is mixed into other morphs like spider or pastel since there is no huge pattern change in spider ybs or pastel ybs? ive heard clean bellies but ive seen normal pastel and spiders have a clean belly.

    Genetics
But how to distinguish a low quality yellow belly from a normal? I have two yb's and they definitely doesn't look as great as the really good examples I've seen of them, but at least the one of them seems very YB-ish and the other seem like a reduced normal with a head stamp and some flames and busy pattern along the belly. How to tell if it's yb or normal then? How much yellow color up their sides is good enough to tell if its yb, and should there be flames all the way from head to tail?

    Don
mikem085, don't feel too bad. You have a nice clutch there of what looks to be healthy babies. Yellowbellies are not the easiest of morphs to identify. That is why when I bought into the gene, I purchased a Pastel Ivory male from a reputable souce. That way, I know that everything he throws is a yellowbelly.

And hey, count your blessings.....10 eggs is a huge clutch! Hopefully you can find some nice homes for those babies via craigslist and local pet stores. Good luck!
