    Well, call me a devil's advocate here, but what if the guy sold is as a pastel knowing it was a desert female and could not breed?

    He figures he'll get money out of her, he won't be holding on to her for a long time because no one wants a desert female that cannot breed, and no one is the wiser.

    If it is for a pet only, it doesn't matter. You got a beautiful snake for a decent price, but if it was bought to breed, then it was a waste of money.

    As far as I have seen, the guy hasn't mentioned the gender of the snake.

    I agree. If it is a female... I hope he wasnt planning on breeding it. If so, return her and get a pastel.

    My friend that bought the snake has an other friend that also bought a snake and they where planing to breed them, 100% as amateurs tho , so she is no expert in anyway.... This is the female =/

    Definitely ask for your money back or the correct snake then.

    I think they are truly gorgeous snakes and would love to own one. But it is worse than useless as far as breeding goes.
