Pandora's got two half logs placed diagonal to the tank corner on either side of her tank, one on the hot side and one on the cool side. The hot side has a UTH under it (regulated with a thermostat and there's paper covering the glass. The cool side has ambient temps between 75 and 80, no heater, nothing covering the glass but a fake vine providing minimal overhead coverage.
Recently, she decided her favorite spot was the space between the hot side hide and the tank corner. I figured it was maybe slightly cooler there at the edge of the UTH, and still hide-like, and she was still spending time inside the hide, so ok, whatever. Yesterday she ate a couple of mice and cruised over to the cool side. She is now "hiding" in the almost completely exposed corner of the tank behind her cool side hide!
