    I honestly really wouldn't worry about it then. As long as the eggs aren't dimpling really bad.

    You could just use water as a substrate and the light diffuser and the press n seal. Its what we have used for years and we never worry about humidity!! :)

    Exactly...unless your vermic is like soup, that's likely the issue. I don't use a light diffuser, just put the eggs straight in the vermic, and even then I kep it a bit more wet than the recommended ratio.

    Thanks everyone... :) WE dont have eggs yet.. STILL waiting... its killing us too... We just wanna make sure everything is just right............ so what are some things to look out for...........dimpling early? Assuming we need to add more water to help with humidity........:)
