Ugh! As someone new to BP keeping (and hopefully breeding in a few years when my youngsters grow up), your post made me feel ill.

Unfortunately the best way to get this guy to drop the whole idea and move on to another "get rich quick" scheme - hopefully one that does not involve live animals - is to let him fail as hard and as fast as possible. This means withdrawing all help. If you don't want to publically out him, at least consider privately contacting the people he has purchased animals from so he finds it harder to purchase new animals. A breeder who cares about the health and welfare of the animals he sells will stop selling to the guy, and one in the biz strictly for the bucks will refuse to negotiate with him.

Considering what you've posted here I'm also surprised this guy hasn't blamed the sellers for sending him sick animals.

I feel sorry for his snakes. He's throwing away morphs that people like me would love to have. :tears:

Absolute scum imo. And I don't say that often.

Freezing a reptile is inhumane. Call animal control for animal cruelty. Not to mention the BOI. The least he could do is give them a humane death if he really refuses to surrender, sell, or treat them. Jeeze.
Tell him to grow up and be a responsible adults. He's acting like a ignorant child who isn't getting their way.

.....throwing snakes in the freezer when they're sick?!? :confusd: I almost cried when I read that. "It's a bad business move" to give somebody else a sick snake so that they can give it proper care!? So instead he just kills it................this guy makes me sick.

He sounds like someone who I would disassociate myself with. Cruelty to animals is something I don't take lightly. Rid yourself of him and let people know who this guy is to protect others from doing buisness with him, and possibly getting sick animals from him while putting money in his pocket!

Well I say you guys won't be dealing with him he has to steal his net access from neighbors ( when he can get a signal ) and he does not have texting or other ways to contact people, he mainly a craigslist and fauna type looker ( bot lacks an account on both I think) I will not say that he is just off interstate 95 in Delaware and Balls deep reptiles does not even want to talk with him anymore. ( I became a good friend with Joe the owner lol)
If you know who he is ( joe) then in the last 4 months you met the guy that usually on his but like a tick lol

If the guy is getting morphs then everyone should know who he is, what he's doing and where he's located(in general) so they don't send their valued animals to him.

I would definitely go to the BOI. I mean, why cover up what he's doing? Why protect him? By doing nothing, and trying to assist him too, you're basically telling him that it's okay to do these things. If enough respected reptile people made a point of disassociating with him entirely, he MIGHT get a clue that maybe he's wrong.

Yeah I would have to say that the best thing to do would be to expose this guy on the BOI. The only person being protected by not doing so is him, and he certainly doesn't deserve it. Honestly, those who are in this hobby for the love of the animals deserve to know that this is not someone to buy from or sell to. I would be very upset if an animal that I worked hard to raise had gone to a person that didn't care for it properly and then threw it in a freezer when an inevitable RI occured. Not to mention the animal cruelty and complete disrespect for the animals in question. These kind of practices are disgusting and they need to be stopped.

You should become his best buddy. That way in a few months when he decides to make tons of money breeding miniature roses or trading Hummel figurines, he'll let you have all of his snakes for a song. :rolleye2::rolleye2:

(I'm kidding, kick him to the curb)
