Maybe so. Also just for fyi. Under the other cage sizes it says "to see the price of this cage preassembled click here." "Here" is a link that will take you to a page for the size cage you're looking at but assembled and shipped.

Has anyone attempted to use the perch kits from pvccages.com in another enclosure (say, a Boaphile 322D)?

I don't know anything about their perch kits, I didn't even know they sell them separately. For my other enclosures i just use a closet hangers ($2 bucks at walmart or home depot) and cut my own PVC to fit whatever size enclosure I am using them for. I personally did not order perches with my PVC cages because I don't like the way he does his--sometimes they are very difficult to take on and off and when you have a pissy animal I don't like to be fighting with the perch. I like an easy on/off perch...plus I like to switch up sizes depending on how the animal is growing.

I don't think the length of the cage matters as much as the height, you don't really want anything shorter than 24" for an adult female. you can get away with 20" (maybe an inch or 2 less) for a male. but most adults get larger than males you want her to have some room.
OK. I think I'm going to order one from PVC Cages. 36 X 24 X 24 Complete with heater, light & thermostat. Everything but perches. If I get another GTP, I'll get the 24X24X24 and use the smaller one for the male.

I like the idea of using closet hangers. Not because they are cheaper, but because of their ease of removal.
Do I need to worry about the dowel being loose in the hanger? Can I use a sterile tree branch instead?

Thanks to EVERYONE for their help!

Of course!! We have used branches and bamboo in the past.....manzanite is popular as well and gives the cage a nice natural look. I am not much for plants and decor....I am a less is more, keep it simple type of keeper. Newspaper as substrate and pvc perches but branches give a nice look.

Great! I'm going to use Crape Myrtle branches. They are smooth and easily cleaned and sterilized. I'll post some pictures so someone can give me an idea of the diameter of branch I should use. Andy
