lol...thanks for the responses guys and gals. I take any advice from experience keepers seiously; however, you are wrong on the activity aspect of that convo. my snake has awesome hides, and he stays in them morning and afternoon, but in the evening, he loves to come out. climbs over everything in my room...and is very active.(he seems to go against the grain on this aspect) He loves to come out and explore my room(never hides, always moving) and come with me on driving trips during the day as well and loves being around my neck. Just please accept the fact that I am not an idiot, and I can tell the difference between discomfort and eager activity. Those night temps were a little low...correct on that. I am still learning, and that has since been corrected. As far as the R.I., I am just paranoid because I am ignorant to symptoms and he means the world to me, and I worry too much. He recently shed (after not eating since January) and all is well on the nose thing. He is still off feed, but has not lost any weight and is still very active. Not too worried...yet. There is a long story that goes with that one...a description will be provided if any body cares.

I know you didn't mean it, but you really pissed me off. Your comment was patronizing, condescending and ignorant. I am a very experienced reptile keeper, just not experienced with snakes, and you know nothing of the history there.

I have a male that rubbed his nose and chin so badly he had a little scab develop. I believe the over activity during these past few months is due to him wanting to breed.

Try washing his enclose out really well and see if that helps with the over activity.
