Mine always do it I got crappy bowls. My carpet an my first male (in tank) both have big ones they soak in. Next check rent doesn't come outta gonna goto dollar tree.

I have two racks from Reptile Basics: http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-sw...y-or-back-heat and http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-cb-70-rack and I love both of them. They come with heat, tubs, and free shipping! They also have these little pegs to put in front of the tubs so the snakes can't push the tub open. I have a herpstat 2 running both of them. I ordered both racks on Tuesday and FedEx showed up at my house that Saturday (4 days later).
I'm looking into purchasing an Animal Plastics rack. Those are some of the best racks but you have to have patience with that company. They have a long lead time (8-10 weeks usually) and I'm just not very patient xD
As for the boaphile racks, I hear they aren't very sturdy but I've not owned one personally.

My first rack is still in pieces at the moment, but I have a hard time believing this. My 6 tub 41 qt is gonna be heated by 15" long strips of 12" wide THG heat tape, and is solid 3/4" melamine. Switching to a rack system
I run a rack in a cool room(68) .My advise is don't do it. Uth do not heat air well only a few degrees. To keep proper ventilation (one air change per hour min) that heat is mostly lost.
I run hot and cool side uth and probes hot and cool top set and lower due to gain. I use a herpstat 4 to run the rack.
The rack body is insulated and I had to build in an air duct system to control the heating of incoming air. All in all a royal pain.
It now works and self regulates from 62-81 degrees but it was not a easy at all the rack is so heavily mod it would have been far easier to build from scratch.
It once was an ap rack.

Thanks! I'll look more into Reptile Basics. They look just as good, if not better that Boaphile..and they're a tad cheaper. :)

I've had mine since January and I LOVE them. I can't say anything bad about them. I use the sweatbox rack for my juvies/males and the CB-70 for my breeding females.
