    It will last them many years. Tortoises can always have more space, if you give it to them they will use it. I'm sure for a small adult male a minimum enclosure size would be around 3' x 2' or so.

    Thanks, I had a Russian when I was younger that I was given. I always remember it as being the shyest creature, this little thing is completely the opposite. It's so bold, very funny. I debated for quite some time between a Greek or a Red Foot, I found an amazing local breeder and I couldn't say no to the little one. Now that I have a house I plan on building a nice outdoor enclosure one day, but I'm in no rush it has a couple years of growing to do.
