Well...he finally ate.

Thanks Caren....I just added 2 gerbils to the menagerie this afternoon....Annabelle and Sludge will hopefully make lots of lil babies to become snake caviar!!

Personally, I detest rats and my local pet store will sell me gerbils pretty cheap so I'll be in the same boat as you once my ball outgrows mice.

Yeah, rats don't really appeal to me either. And personally, I think gerbils are kind of cute. Not that I'd have any problem feeding them to Amber, I just wouldn't mind having a few around as they breed.

Anyone have any info on breeding gerbils?
