    Humidity Problem
    Interesting articles on the subject:
    http://www.thenewamerican.com/tna/20...3-2004/gas.htm (history, price controls, OPEC)
http://www.yonip.com/main/articles/energy.html (stats from DoE site http://www.eia.doe.gov/)
    http://www.federalreserve.gov/boardd...27/default.htm (4/04 Greenspan remarks)

All that and more is why we as consumers ought to be enthusiastically supporting research into thermal depolymerization as an alternative source for ready-to-use petroleum products.

    Humidity - Thanks
I've been very excited about the possibilities -- if a little skeptical of the claims -- of thermal depolymerization since the Discover article last year. It has the potentional to revolutionize everything from waste disposal to middle east policy, if the process is efficient enough and gets the support needed to get off the ground.

It's 2.18 here in Ct (average for unleaded).
Luckily the new VW does very well on gas. Sadly I drive an average of 500 miles a week or so.
