He looks great. Have you seen the Albino Calico? Your guy would be great plugged in to a project like that as well (or better maybe Lavender Albino).

Good luck and I hope he is still available for you. I promise it was not me that bought him :rolleye2:

Given that, and his belief that they are different, I will stick with that until shown otherwise.

Either way, yes, he is very nice - thank you!

No to hijack your thread but since it's your own post :D I have to ask.....because I thought that a sugar and calico were the same thing as well, just 2 different lines. Like the flame and fire....pastel and citrus pastel....etc. I know some people say they are different like the lesser and butter but there are many people who still believe the lesser and butter are the same morph.

I don't own any calico or sugars and I don't know much about them but I have been under the impression for a very long time that they ARE indeed the SAME morph. Anyone? :confusd:

I was under the same impression. Same morph, different lines.

Anywho, total stunner! I hope everything works out for you to pick him up!

I guess it just comes down to semantics, then. When I think morph, I think one line of a morph or a morph all by itself (cinny, black pastel, VPI axanthic, SK, Joliff, etc., are all different morphs to me). I do accept that there are different liness of the same morph, however, like the ones in parenthesis (spelling?) above. I would call sugar and calico lines within the same "morph complex." The only way to prove it out, in my opinion, is to breed two lines together to see if they are compatible. Fire vs. lemonback, for example, are definitely different lines of the same "morph complex." Same super form, but compare a lemonback pastel to a firefly and the fire puts the lemonback in that combo to shame, every time. My two cents.

He was sold. Time to start looking for another.
