Check out http://www.moonlightboas.com for caresheets on both Dumeril's and BRBs, you'll find them right at the top under Care/Info.

AND there's cool videos of boas being born!! Paul helped me out a couple of times back when I had BRBs, very good guy!

www.Moonlightboas.com is a great choice for Dumerils (or for Rainbows too if you go that route). I actually don't know of another breeder who works with them. I will be breeding them, but my female is young so it'll be a few years before we do. :gj:

Here are a few breeders or sellers that are highly respected for BCI.....

    http://www.cuttingedgeherp.com/ Vin Russo

I have bought from several of these folks and know the others by reputation. Can't go wrong with any of these guys. ;)

Got my BCI from backwater reptiles and I recommend them! She is perfect, the price was right, and their customer service is top notch!

I would recommend BCI. Very docile, active, great feeding response, and tons of personality! I love BPs too but my first love is BCIs

    Well,

I just got my first boa and he is on hold until my setup is complete. If you are interested in what a nice common male BCI can look like, I got this guy from Legacy Reptiles.

Evenstar has a whole lot of knowledge as well and is worth listening to.

I had a list of snakes I was considering. Dumerils, Carpet Pythons and BCI/BCC. At one time blood pythons were on the list.

When it came down to it I felt the BCI was the best choice for me.

There are so many great things about all of your potential choices.

Research hard and get what you REALLY want.
