    That's really up to you. Most people say to give the snake a week or two to settle in and feel safe. If you think your snake is ready and want to feed it earlier, then you try that. You won't get a concrete answer to this question because everyone has had different experiences trying different things.

    I know that you will be anxious to see him eat, but really, it will be worth it overall if you give him some time to acclimate to his surroundings. BPs are left vulnerable to predators when they are eating, and thus will not eat if they feel insecure.
