    The beaded stays out about 1/2 the time. The other 1/2 is definitley hidden. But he does like to chill and watch whats going on.

    I had no idea that people could keep beaded lizards!

    I saw a documentary where a guy went to Asia or whatnot and found one in the wild!

    Both species of Heloderma are from the America's. Beaded's native range is in Mexico and Gila's are from the south western United States. It is legal to keep them in captivity in some places, Alberta however is not one of those. They along with almost every other species of exotics are controlled or prohibited by provincial law unfortunately. :(

    Haha! They're such cool little lizards.

    Are yours quite chilled out? My mate has four cinctum, and they are all really, really laid back. I'm talking Leopard gecko laid back lol.

    Not so laid back right now. But definitely not aggressive or anything. Just alot of huffing and puffing.

    I hope he followed it up with just as many orange beers just to keep an even balance. :D

    very cute pics, Gila's are one of my dream animals but I surely wouldn't mind a mexican beaded either. ::Sigh:: maybe someday.
