Uh oh. Jonah is a law-breaking wild man.

    Here's my local ordinance:
    Sec. 10-40. Wildlife.

All complaints and matters concerning wild animals not or a domestic nature and complaints involving game animals or protected species and/or hunting, shall be forwarded to the state department of natural resources, Game and Fish Division or the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Law Enforcement Division for proper disposition, i.e., compliance, apprehension, controlling and/or enforcement as may be necessary as provided by state and federal rules and regulations.

haha - thankfully I am literally about a three minutes from the official "Chicago" area- there is a herp shop just about two minutes away with bloods and corns and all kinds of colubrids and also BP's and BCI's ... the guy power feeds and doesn't offer hides for some but he keeps them in visions and temps and water are always good... the BP's generally hide under that lip below the sliding doors... I would correct him but he's bred bloods for years with success and he's way bigger, older, and more experienced than I... he is a huge pro-ponenet of feeding F/T though. He did once state that he keeps snakes for return on investment not to own as pets and while I disagree with much husbandry and definately the aforementioned statement of pure money - they are all healthy, eating, vet checked so .. I did comment about the hides once but it's his place you know. I'm trying to get a job there so I can talk him into changing some things or maybe even pay out of pocket for some hides.
