Heya - welcome aboard, second the opinion put forth by those above. Smynx's sig pretty much covers what we keep.

Green - how are those blue Heelers? I saw some this weekend and I have never seen them before - looked pretty cool and had some sharpass little teeth.

    Smulkin-
Blue heelers are fantastic little dogs. They are medium sized, but they get fairly muscular. Mine weighs about 45 pounds. They are very smart animals. If you are willing to put in the time to train them they can do all sorts of things. I just trained mine to wipe his feet before coming in the house :D .

If you are considering getting one though there are a couple of things you should know. They are very high energy dogs. They require alot of attention too. My dog is named shadow because he follows me around like one. I dont need a leash because he is always at my side. They can get destructive if you leave them alone (boredom/lonely). They really like to be around people and play alot. So if you have the time and the space for one, they are fantastic. Mine never bites, and is a very friendly dog if a bit territorial.
