If you also want to invest in a BP book at the same time, Kevin McCurley's The Complete Ball Python is great, it shows basic genetics and how they interact with specific ball python morphs. It'll run you $60 and it's from 2005 so it's getting a bit outdated morphs-wise but it does have some great info on not only genetics, but husbandry, breeding, and lots of pictures of basic morphs. (If you can't tell, I love my copy) It's great for a newbie if you have the money to invest.
