    I don't really consider protecting babies aggression.
    Especially if she has been nice and tame prior to the litter.

    But if she was mean before, then I agree with the others and cull her. And as Mark said, aggression is heritable.
    However, I don't believe this situation is true aggression, but rather than a protective instinct.
