I have everything covered but a thin strip on the cool side, a plastic window for my fluorescent light, and a 6x6: square for ventilation. Above the ventilation square, I have a 5" wire cage with a 60w ceramic heat emitter 4" from the mesh, and a UTH on a thermostat underneath.
The exo-terras are thinner and flimsier than a standard tank, and let a lot of air in, but the front opening doors are really convenient. There are better cages in a similar price range, but I was lucky to get mine during a winter sale.
I actually do something similar with my 10 gallon now! Yours looks 10 times nicer than my little rig job, lol. Thank you, I will definitely try this, maybe even fix up my little 10 gallon! And what other cages would you suggest? Petsmart is the only store in my area where I could actually go and pick it up, but for a reasonable price, I could ship it to my house if i can find a better one.

I will be sure to give her extra hides and things in the beginning to make her feel safe. That's a nice cage setup by the way. Also, what gallon is the tank i sent the link to? (36" x 18" x 12")
36 x 18 x 12 (30 gal) 36 x 18 x17 (40 gal breeder tank)
