Thanks, y'all. I just got the news about half an hour ago that my offer came in 2nd. So now will everyone send vibes so that whoever came in first won't qualify for a mortgage and I'll get the house after all? ;) They have until June 11 to close or I get my chance, but I can't leave that offer open and put in an offer on another house (and I've looked at almost all the other houses in the area in my price range, or the agent has for me, and this was the nicest by a long shot), and I just don't have much time. Aaaarrrggghhh! </venting> Anyway, I am very glad for you, Steelsack, that your work and patience have started to pay off for you.
