my first reptile that I can remember was a pair of Tiger Salamanders when I was a kid, Mom picked them up during a storm and we kept them until they died some years later.

First Reptile bought was a Normal Ball from Petco.

My first reptiles were some native lizards I used to catch in Puerto Rico when I was about 5-6 years old, but my first pet reptiles were some red eared sliders that I traded for some garters.

The first reptile/amphibian I owned were a couple of salamanders I found when I was about 5. They were black with little white snowflake looking spots all over them and I named them Snow and Flake. We found them under a rock at my grandmother's house and she was going to kill them because for some unknown reason, she thinks all reptiles and amphibians are dangerous. I still remember my dad helping me take a very large mason jar, creating layers of soil and moss to keep the humidity up, and using a small fish tank heater to try and keep them warm. They lived a couple of years and I remember them eating more worms than I could catch so my allowance went to the bait store to keep them fed.

My first snake that I caught was a ringneck but the first one that I owned and kept wasn't until college (mom wouldn't let us keep them more than a few days in the house). That was a snow corn snake that I bought at a pet store and her name was Snowflake.

My first reptile was a red-eared slider when I was 7. I loved feeding it :)

My first snake was a corn snake I rescued from a sticky mouse trap when I worked at a pet store when I was 19. They said if I could get it off, I could keep it, because they were just going to chop its head off.
