    I'll add that its normal for f/t rats to bleed from the mouth/nose. Thawing them with the head towards the roof and the tail end towards the floor usually helps keep them from bleeding.

    Interesting!!!! I have never had it happen to me. Well a drop here and there, but this thing bled like it was cut open alive.

    meowmeowkazoo was never going to use bleach on my snake :p

    I agree that water works just fine to clean the snake. My albino gets ink stains all over her if the newspaper gets wet, but the stains come of with water. I prefer not putting chemicals on my snakes if I can avoid it. Aloe is toxic to dogs and cats so I wouldn't want it on my snakes.
