Hey kmg, why do you use a 4 instead of a 2 with power strips?

Also do I need to use dimmable lamps or will the dimming function work with all lamps? I have multiple kinds.

Also does this have a built in timer? For like day/night? Not gonna use it, just curious...

My four is hooked up to several cages. One port controls RHP in three, one port controls the UTH to three, one port controls the lights to four cages, and the last one runs the RHP in another cage.

    You can use regular lamps.

You can set up a timer for the lights and set up a night temp drop for heat devices.
