    Ahh all I saw what "young" bp didn't read into how young. Lol yeah no way then. Might take a couple strikes at, that's about it.

    A full grown, live guinea pig is no joke. Mine was a couple pounds - as big as ball pythons can get, they're not going to be big enough to really go for a guinea pig that size. By the time the snake may get large enough to consider harassing the guinea pig, the guinea pig is going to be big enough to not be something the snake wants to mess with. Most ball pythons barely get large enough to eat a jumbo rat...a guinea pig is even bigger than that!

    O yeah I know I have been bit by one as a kid, not a fun experience. The picture I had was a good size bp, and a baby guinea pig.

    You should be making sure both cages are secured anyway, even if you didn't have a BP.
