    Agreed! Glad he's a good eater. That's alot of the battle right there with balls! It sounds like you actually have already done your homework. I appaud you for that! I'm new to this forum but I've been around the forums ever since there have been forums and in the hobby for long before that (yeah, I'm old!) Many people come to forums and ask questions with doing any looking first. It's refreshing to see some one actually do that! Good job on rescueing this guy and keep us posted on how he's doing!

    Yea i read up on them as soon as i got home gave him a week to adjust.. he eats rats or mice not a picky eater at all! Now im just trying to get over the fear of being bit i let him crawl up my arms he wraps around my legs but this is my first snake i know prob wont hurt that bad jyst get a lil nervous when hes around my fingers lol ill get over it in time thank you all first post on this forum and i already feel welcome no one heckled the newbie!

    Right. He still has shed on his entire face. Eyes included.

    Don't worry about getting bitten. A paper cut hurts worse in my opinion.
    The more you handle him, the more he'll learn your scent. Snakes are quite good at distinguishing prey from other things.
