    The easiest time to switch a stubborn female is after she lays her eggs, she'll eat anything then.

    You can also try to switch her now however it will take tough love, which means if she does not eat the rat you do not offer any other type of prey item and you do this weeks after weeks. Of course this method requires that the animal is in good health and has a good body weight as it can take months before the animal switch successfully, if it does.

    If you feed every 5-7 days wait 10-12 days. They won't refuse it! You are not hurting anything by skipping a few days.
