Double vivarium!

I haven't as of yet getting that when I pick my pastel up! Ill have a play around see what works the best tomorrow, it's getting rather quite annoying now and I'm off to make some penny's to pay for it all!

Don't let it frustrate you. Just keep adjusting one thing at a time and then wait to see how that affects the temp. I'm assuming you have a snake in the top. How does he/she act? Does she use the warm side hide even though it's so hot?

She's only gone in today and been in the cool side since she's been in so ill have to observe her some more to figure out what's best

Sounds like it's probably just too hot for her but she may also be one of those that prefers the cooler side. I'd move the hide a bit so it's not directly under the heat emitter and go from there. That way it's not getting super hot.

Did that just before I left I don't want a £250 cooked snake when I get home!
