Happens everyday... Not necesarily the holding part but thinking about where I want to take my breeding program, timing for clutches, new rack ideas, etc. It's when I start mumbling out loud about mojaves, BEL's, and racks that my coworkers look at me funny. I just say that I was thinking of the snakes and they shake their heads and walk away. I work with strange people... ;)

Mine are still babies, so not to the breeding point yet. I'm sure that will be even more time consuming when the time comes. :P

Man if you only new. I've never obsessed over any one thing more it is actually affecting my marriage my wife hates it my co workers tease me. I'm either messing with the rats or snakes or on my smart phone researching and planning my next purchase that I don't have money for. This is truly an addiction and I love it.

Haha, I am driving my husband NUTS w the snake stuff! He'll see me on my phone or on the comp and be like 'what are you d-........ Ugh never mind' and grumble away.... Whoops! lol

This used to be a problem, but now my hubby will steal my ipad and play "what if" (as in what if we cross this one with this one...) on the wobp genetic wizard. Once you get them sucked in it becomes much easier to rationalize the stupid amounts of money spent on the animals to each other.

Is it just me? :)
I make list after list of who is going to need which cage or rack. Then I have the list of who I would like to pair, which males I want, which girls I would like to put with him. Then I draw out designs for the snake room. Then I "window shop" the cages and racks. So on and so on......
It's all day everyday.
Then I also repeat all this for my Tarantulas. :D

I realized yesterday that I have a "snake problem" when I got irritated at the thought of "wasting" our tax return money by using it toward closing costs on a house, instead of getting another snake. :oops:
