Re: How Much $ To Bring To Expo?
I just came from a show, had a tank at home but got my lesser (for $100 normally $225) and supplies there.
What I did was set a $200 for a snake and $150 for supplies. Then shopped the entire show for deals on a good snake (using kingsnake.com classified as a reference tool as I went) then bought him and bouggts supplies. (Compared prices between vendors). I ended up spending like $130 on supplies but they would have cost me 200+ in pet stores. Well worth the entrance fee. :)

Re: How Much $ To Bring To Expo?
Is there any way you can get to the Etobicoke Expo on Feb. 10th?
With no intention to buy at all, just research what you want. Talk to the breeders and tell them you plan on buying at the June Expo, what your price range is, what you like, etc.
Fortunately, I live only a few miles from Markus & Jayne so, I can get some beautiful snakes fairly easily. (I only have a 1.0 Orange Ghost atm and got both the boy and girl their own cornsnakes).
That way you can see what you will need to get what you want and hey, you never know you could end up picking something totally different than what you expected to get.
Re: How Much $ To Bring To Expo?
awesome, thanks everyone soooo much for the help. im gonna use my phone as a hotspot today and go do some research on faunaclassifieds to see what some morphs usually run for and then finalise my shopping list lol. im only going to pick up one snake (not looking to breed) but i want something that looks a little different, know what i mean? bumblebee, sterling, ivory... so im likely gonna break the bank on this excursion. thanfully i have family in the area so i dont have to pay for a motel at the same time lmao!
but yea, thanks so much for all your help!
